I always love working with seniors, but it’s really hard to beat the chance to photograph a puppy in addition to that! I had a great time taking these special portraits of Katie and her fur baby, Ziva. They have the sweetest bond together.
One of my favorite times for taking portraits is right before a rain storm rolls in, and that is exactly what happened before Katie’s session. We had a lot to do before the rain hit- from the MSU Gardens to the East Lansing Soccer fields! We ended up getting rained on, but it didn’t make a difference because Katie’s portraits turned out gorgeous – which wasn’t a surprise! She was a total trooper and a dream to photograph.
