Reid moved here from Colorado and really wanted his portraits to capture his interests and life here in the Lansing area. We kicked off his portrait session in East Lansing downtown where I made sure to capture all the aspects of his personality for his mom. Next, we went over to his high school for football portraits. Guys always love incorporating their sports and I loved taking these for Reid!
I love working with Rachel’s family because capturing their kids for exactly who they are is so important to them. We planned out the most epic sessions for Rachel, starting off with gymnastics themed portraits in the studio, then traveling over to Twistars to complete session one with the use of the beam, vault, bars, and of course, chalk dust. Her second session started off with hair and makeup by some of my talented artists, then we headed over to Woldumar where we took so many beautiful portraits for Rachel and her parent’s memories. Rachel’s dad was awesome and even helped lug all my heavy equipment around. It was a truly memorable experience and Rachel’s canvases and Fine Art Album were absolutely stunning!
Have you ever seen such stunningly gorgeous red hair? Me neither. Fall was definitely the perfect season for Alexandria to have her portraits taken! Love the way the setting sun looked on her hair and skin.
Paige came with some ideas in mind and wanted as much variety as we could get! Needless to say, that’s what we did. Honestly, that’s what we always do! Variety is the spice of life, right?
So, we started out in studio then ran down to one of my favorite parks for some portraits in the field, among the trees, and near the river. It was such a beautiful fall day with the sun coming through the trees to cast such a pretty glow on Paige’s gorgeous hair. I love how these turned out and even more than that, I love Paige’s stunning wall art and album she took home for her memories.
