As women, we all have insecurities and “flaws” we struggle to see past. The world is constantly bombarding us with ideas and images of what the “perfect” woman is, sometimes making it very difficult to see beyond all of that and recognize our own strengths and beauty. We always feel like we need longer hair, a shapelier butt, to be taller, skinnier, prettier, stronger, and the list goes on and on and on…
This is why, in summer of 2020, I launched The Body Love Project. I believe we need to stop focusing on the negatives, and for once see ourselves for all that we are, not all that we aren’t. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful in their own skin, regardless of shape, size, color, past experiences, or current life situation.
Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing the images and stories of the beautiful women who were chosen to participate in this amazing movement. As you read their stories, I hope you not only feel encouraged, but also find inspiration and strength to be unapologetically exactly who you are. There is only one you.
