When you get a call to take senior portraits for someone you once babysat when they were tiny, it’s pretty exciting! I have to admit, it made me feel just a tiny bit old, too. We started off with a model session early in the year, then did senior portraits over the summer. It was so much fun and I was so honored to play such a big part in Adriana’s senior year. You’re only a senior once and you only get senior portraits once. I’m so glad I got to make hers beautiful and perfect for her.
I really enjoyed working with Matt and his family. They wanted something urban and unique so that’s what we did. We walked around town and found all kinds of great places to stop at for his senior pictures. I love the variety we captured while working together!
Mara was a dream to work with. She has an interest in photography and came to her session with all kinds of great ideas. We put our minds together and here is the result! We started at the salon where Amber did her makeup, then went to the park, then her home. I so love all of these!
Marishka chose to split her session between studio and outdoors. She started over at Fluid where Amber did her hair and makeup, then met me at the studio where we took photos of her with her siblings and some with her violin, then we headed out to Grand Ledge for some gorgeous autumn photos!
I absolutely adored working with Lexi’s family when I took her older sister’s senior pictures and loved taking Lexi’s just as much! She wanted something totally unique and cool to document her sport so we went for it. The balance beam was hauled all the way to the park and I couldn’t be happier with how incredible all of these turned out!
