“I have had a hell of a year to say the least. I had major surgery in December 2019, a hysterectomy. Two weeks to the day after my surgery, my dad was diagnosed with Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer. 17 days, yes DAYS after his diagnosis, my dad passed away. He died January 5th 2020. We passed his first birthday in heaven, and now my brother and I are coming up on our first Father’s Day without our dad. Aside from that, I had weightless surgery in May 2017, and have struggled with body image being a beautiful thing.” -A
