Alexis was referred to me by one of my wonderful senior models, Leah. I had no doubt in my mind she would be a wonderful person. We brainstormed and came up with all kinds of cool ideas for Alexis’ senior pictures! We scheduled hair and makeup (you can see all of Alexis’ behind the scenes footage HERE), then headed out for an evening of photo-taking and creating amazingness!
First stop was the gardens where we incorporated those beautiful tall grasses into her photos as well as some flowers that were still blooming. The setting sun made for some gorgeous light for these pictures!
Love these of Alexis’ with the fallen yellow leaves. What a great contrast to that pretty blue sweater.
By now, the sun was pretty well set and we had the last bits of light leftover to play with for these fountain photos. I’m absolutely loving these!! Way too pretty, Alexis!
Alexis wanted some studio photos as well, so we may our way inside and pulled out her paints and a canvas she created herself. How fun!
Alexis has a lot of interests and is also a skier! What better backdrop than white for that, right?!
Alexis had two sessions so we could include her water polo as well, so a couple days later, we met her at the pool for these! I think it’s super cool when kids are proud of their accomplishments and activities and want to include as much as possible into their pictures!
Working with Alexis and her mom was great! Thank you to both of you!!
I’ve had several 2014 seniors coming to me because they had their senior pictures elsewhere and were disappointed. I’m so happy Alexis made the choice to have her pictures redone. She will have these pictures and memories forever! It is your choice, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to make the right choice the first time. Not making the right choice only ends up with you not being thoroughly happy, or costing you more money in the long run to have your photos done again.
Make sure you stop in at the Meridian Mall in the next couple months and check out Alexis’ photo on display! I loved it so much I had to put it up!
